6'6” guard/small forward Riste Stefanov has signed with AEK Athens in the Greek A 1 League. He was born in Macedonia, but received a Bulgarian passport in 2007. He has played for the passed four years with Lukoil Akademik Sophia, always winning the Bulgarian Championship. Last year he averaged 14.3 ppg shooting 53.8% from the “2”, 48,4% from the “3” and 82.8% from the free throw line. Has been an important member of the Macedonian National team since 2002.
