
Robinson comes back to Sparta
BBC Sparta Bertrange (Total League) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American power forward Titus Robinson. He joins another USA player Jalen Henry who is already in the roster.It is actually Robinson's comeback to Bertrange as he has played here before. He played most recently at Iwate Big Bulls in Japanese B3 League. In 45 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.2spg last season. Good year as he was selected League Player of the Week.The previous (2018) summer Robinson played at Mackay Meteors (QBL) in Australian league where in 20 games he averaged remarkable 16.6ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.2apg, 1.1spg and 1.1bpg in 2018 season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.In 2013 (a year after he left the college) Robinson was drafted by Fort Wayne Mad Ants (D-League) in sixth round (98th overall).The former University of Buffalo standout is in his eighth season in pro basketball.Among other achievements Robinson received Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Defensive Player of the Year award in 2017.He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Robinson's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in six different countries. Robinson has played previously professionally in Argentina (Estudiantes Concordia), Chile, Lithuania, Mexico (Panteras), Australia (Sherbrooke Suns) and TRBL (Charlotte E.).
