Pistoia Basket 2000 (Italian Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old ex-international point guard Lorenzo Saccaggi. It is actually his comeback to Pistoia as he has played here before. Saccaggi has played for the last two years at Edilnol Pallacanestro Biella in the Serie A2. In 25 games he recorded 13.9ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.5apg in 2019-20 season.He also represented Italy at the European Championships U20 in Slovenia eight years ago. Saccaggi has played previously for four other teams: Forli, Verona, Soundreef Mens Sana 1871 Siena and Piacenza. Saccaggi won Italian Lega Due championship title in 2013.
