On her senior year the former OG of Dayton Sam Mackay averaged 10.5 points and 4.9 assists for the Flyers. Then, after she spent her 2013 summer in the WNBA team, Seattle Storm's training camp, she signed a 1 year contract with Euroleague team UNI Gyor. Unfortunately the team had a tragedic bus accident on the beggining of the season and they had to miss the whole year.
Now Sam recovered 100% and she gets the second chance she deserved, signing with the Hungarian team ZTE NKK. Mackay will join the team on the 15th of september.
