Samo Udrih is a newcomer at Scafati
Givova Scafati Basket (Italian A2 Silver) added to their roster 35-year old Slovenian ex-international guard Samo Udrih- He already started the season at Hopsi Polzela. In 8 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.0apg and 1.1spg this season. The most of last season Udrih spent at Inter Bratislava (SBL) in Slovakian league. In 11 games he averaged 4.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.1apg. He helped them to win the league title. Udrih also played at Hopsi Polzela (Telemach League) in Slovenian league earlier that season. In 6 Telemach League games he averaged 11.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.2apg and 1.0spg.
The previous (12-13) season he played at Zlatorog (Telemach League) in Slovenian league. In 24 games he averaged 14.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.3apg and 1.9spg in 2012-13 season. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Slovenian League All-Star Game.
In 2011-12 season Udrih played at Mywigo Valladolid (ACB) in Spanish league. In 21 games he averaged 5.3ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.7apg in 2011-12 season.
In 2010-11 season he played at Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Telemach League) in Slovenian league. The team played in three different competitions that year, and Udrih had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 19 Telemach League games he averaged 6.5ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg in 2010-11 season. He contributed to his team making it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Udrih also played 3 games in Euroleague where he averaged just 1.0ppg, 1.7rpg and 2.7apg in 2010-11 season. He also played 8 games in Adriatic League where he averaged 6.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.4apg in 2010-11 season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Udrih was voted Eurobasket.com Croatian A1 League All-Defensive Team back in 2010. He also represented Slovenia at the European Championships in Lithuania three years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 1.8ppg.
Udrih is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Aix-Maurienne), Greece (Panellinios), Israel (Hapoel Tel-Aviv), Spain (Girona FC, Blancos de Rueda and CB Granada).
