Sant Josep Girona announced signing of the Lithuanian big guy Arnas Labuckas for the next season. The 24-year-old player heads to Spain from the Russian team Rajzan, where he spent last season. He played 38 games for them in Superleague averaging 14.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals. Arnas Labuckas played for VEF Riga in 2009/10 season. He had 10.5 ppg and 3.8 rpg for them in six EuroChallenge games. He had slightly better numbers in VTB United League in also six games. Labuckas demonstrated good performance in LBL and Baltic league as well.
Arnas Labuckas won the Baltic league (Challenge Cup) in 2009 with Sakalai Vilnius. He helped them with 11.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg in 24 games. In the past, he was a member of Buratina Kaunas. Labuckas played for the Lithuanian University NT, U20 and U18 NT.
