SAP Vaucluse signes Franko Kastropil
Franko Kastropil joined the French team SAP Vaucluse.
He started the season at Lille Metropole Basket in French ProB. In 14 games he averaged 5.6ppg and 4.4rpg then moved to Cytavision Apoel Nicosia. The last season Kastropil played at BC Apollon Limassol. In 15 Division A games he had 12.8ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0bpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League 3rd Team and to the All-Star Game.
The previous (13-14) season he played at Tundja Yambol (NBL) in Bulgarian league. In 8 games he had 13.1ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.3apg. Kastropil also played at GKK Sibenik (A1) in Croatian league earlier that season. The other team he played that season for was Siroki Primorka in Bosnia and Herzegovina league. In 15 Adriatic League games he had 5.8ppg and 4.9rpg.
In 12-13 season Kastropil played at KK Zadar (A1) in Croatian league. In 17 games he had 7.2ppg and 4.8rpg in 2012-13 season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Kastropil's team won Croatian A1 League Regular Season in 2011.
He was a member of Croatian U18 National Team between 2002 and 2003.
Kastropil has played also professionally for other Croatian teams like KK Split, Cibona, Cedevita, KK Solin and Rudes.
