Umana Reyer Venezia announced the agreement with Sasha Vujacic. Born in Maribor, the 30 years old shooting guard arrived in Italy for the first time in 2000-01, joining Udine, where he played 4 seasons (14.4 ppg during his last year) before being drafted by Los Angeles Lakers. Vujacic spent 7 seasons in NBA (6 with Lakers, half between Raptors and Nets), with 478 games (420 with Lakers), scoring 2674 points (5.6 ppg) with 458/1234 (37.1%) from 3 and 362/416 (87.0) from the line. In 2011/12 he joined Anadolu Efes Istabul, averaging 13.9 ppg in Euroleague and 12.0 ppg in Turkish League. He stayed in Istanbul until April 2013 (9.1 ppg in Euroleague and 12.7 ppg in TBL during 2012/13). During this season, he has played only 2 games, last February, with Los Angeles Clippers, scoring 5 points during the large win over 76ers.
