Scandone Avellino (Italian Serie A) tabbed 30-year old naturalized Argentinian point guard Ariel Filloy. He played most recently at Umana Reyer Venezia (Serie A). In 43 games he averaged 7.2ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg last season. Filloy helped them to win the league title (twice). He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Honorable Mention. Filloy also played 20 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 5.0ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.2apg. He contributed to his team making it to the Basketball Champions League Final Four.The previous (15-16) season Filloy played at The Flexx Pistoia. In 28 Serie A games he recorded 7.7ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.7apg and 1.3spg.Filloy was a member of Italian U20 National Team back in 2007.He has played previously for eight other teams: Grissin Bon RE, Alma Trieste, Rimini, Cervia, Scafati, Vanoli Cremona, Porto Torres and Rovereto.
