The 6'7” small forward/power forward Shane Clark has signed a deal with the Strong Cypriot team Proteas Danoi AEL Limassol. 24 years old, played college basketball with the Villanova Wildcats. On his senior year he started 18 of 36 games for the Wildcats averaging 20 plus minutes a game, shooting 48.7% from the field. On 2009/10 Shane had an impressive rookie season in Portugal with Barreirense/Unilogos. There he scored 17.6 points per game and grabbed 6.1 rebounds, leading the team to the Portuguese Cup semifinals. His performances granted him a Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention.
This will be a great opportunity for Shane who will spend the next season with the team that won the Cypriot regular season for the last two years.
