The management of EGIS Kormend agreed with georgian NT player, Giorgi Sharabidze, who already arrived to the country and started the preperation for coming season with his new team. The 210 cm tall inside player is a product of junior program of Valencia alongside with Victor Claver and Tornike Shengelia.
He has a body of the center who can play as a power forward thanks to his soft hands, good shooting skills, feeling for the rebounds and insticts. After playing several seasons in Spain he returned to his country in 2010 and had a great season playing with Army Sport Klub Tbilisi, averaging 13.8ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2 bpg in 18 games. He spent the last 3 seasons with BC Armia Tbilisi. In the last season he averaged 14.5ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.3apg in 23 games.
