Strangely Brescia outrebounded Vanoli Cremona 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. The international guard David Cournooh David Cournooh orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. In 27 minutes on the floor he has also collected 4 rebounds, 1 assists and 1 steal for a final evaluation index of 20.
Vanoli Cremona (6-7) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pesaro and Trento. Loser Brescia dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. Vanoli Cremona will face league's leader Armani Milano at home in the next round. Brescia will play against Pesaro (#8) and hope to win that game.
