6'6” Dwayne Anderson had a great shooting night in the Violets 91-73 Game 1 win over Eisbaren Bremerhaven in the 2010 Beko Basketball Bundesliga first round series, Saturday night at Lokhalle in Gottingen. The American SF/PF led a terrific Gottingen team effort with 24 points, securing 4-of-5 field goals, 4-of-6 three pointers and 4-of-4 free throws. He also added seven rebounds, two assists and one stolen ball.
Dwayne, who played college basketball with Villanova Wildcats, is on his rookie season and less than a month ago he was inserted into the ideal Eurochallenge 2010 1st team. Game 2 in the series is set for Thursday May 13th 7pm at Stadthalle in Bremerhaven.
