Shooting night for our players in Croatia
Marin Rozic came off the bench for 19 points on
shooting 9-of-10 of the field, Nebojsa Joksimovic added 13 points, Zagreb opened the game with an 11-2 run. Cibona took their first lead of the night
at 20-19 early in the second quarter. After trailing 40-45, Zagreb went on a
14-2 run and later extend their lead to 67-56 going into the fourth quarter,
their largest advantage of the night. Cibona sank four 3-pointers to cut the
deficit to 75-77. Ivan Batur made a 3-pointer that gave Zagreb a
80-75 lead with four minutes remaining. Zagreb cut the deficit to 87-90 with 29 seconds left. Cibona's Zeljko Sakic was fouled and he made just one of his two free
throws. Zagreb had a possession, but Domagoj Bosnjak stole the ball to secure the win for Cibona.
Among Zagreb's best players we find Pavle Marcinkovic, who scored 19 points, and Ivan Batur who added 16.
