Skyhawks sign Jermaine Johnson
Experienced big man Jermaine Johnson has signed an agreement with the Ottawa SkyHawks. Johnson has played in Mexico and Hungary and was All-Southern Conference 2nd Team at Charleston and was drafted into the NBA D-League by the Reno Bighorns. Johnson went on to put up big numbers in the Mexican league averaging 21ppg and 8rpg for Gigantes in the LNBP. He was also CIBANE All-Imports Team, All-Mexican Chihuahua Vive Import Player of the Year in 2013, and the Mexican Chihuahua Vive Champion. He's also played in Brazil and Portugal. This is expected to be a key signing for Coach Keathley and company in Ottawa, Johnson immediately improves their rotation at the big spots and is expected to compete for a place in their starting lineup.
