Small forward Luis Montero was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 30 points he had in the Dominican Republic league. His excellent performance made his team Titanes beat the Reales 93 to 74. He also grabbed 8 rebounds, got 6 assists and 2 blocks that game. Among many awards he won the Dominican Republic League championship title in 2025. He was selected to the Latinbasket BCL Americas All Defensive Team in 2025. Montero was also selected as the Latinbasket All Venezuelan SPB Player of the Year in 2024.
