Spirou lands Alexander Lindqvist

Proximus Spirou Charleroi (Belgian Scooore League) tabbed 25-year old Swedish international forward Alexander Lindqvist. He started the season at Uppsala Basket in Swedish Basketligan. In 32 games he averaged impressive 18.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg this season. Lindqvist ended the last season at Aiolos Trikallon (A1) in Greek league. But the most of that year he spent at Solna Vikings (Basketligan) in Sweden. In 30 games he had 13.8ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.2apg. The previous (13-14) season Lindqvist played at KFUM Nassjo Basket (Basketligan) in Swedish league. In 34 games he had very remarkable stats: 16.2ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.6apg in 2013-14 season. In 12-13 season he played at Sodertalje Kings (Basketligan) in Swedish league. In 44 games he had 5.2ppg and 2.5rpg in 2012-13 season. He helped them to win the league title. Lindqvist also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had just 1.2ppg.
Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U18 Division B 2nd Team award back in 2009.Lindqvist was also a member of Swedish international program for some years. He played for Swedish Senior National Team between 2011 and 2014 and previously for U20 National Team between 2010 and 2011. Lindqvist also represented Sweden at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 13.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.3spg, FGP: 52.2%, 3PT: 22.9%, FT: 85.7%.Lindqvist has played also professionally for other Swedish teams like Solna Branten and Taby Basket.
