Stimac among the best Serbian players in the world in the last round
This week's number one is an international center Vladimir Stimac. He led Besiktas to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes (23-7) 91-90 in a derby game in the Turkish BSL in Tuesday night's game. Stimac was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 10 rebounds. Stimac also added 2 blocks in 28 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (24-6) is placed second in the BSL. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Stimac's first season with the team. Stimac has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 68.0%(172-253) and FT: 57.4% in 30 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.
