Melilla overcame Coruna in the fifth game of the semifinal series to book their LEB Gold title series appearance. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Leyma Basquet won third quarter 26-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Leyma Basquet 41-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds.
