Falco-Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely (Hungarian A Division) signed 28-year old Croatian international forward Boris Barac. He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. Barac played last season at Palma in Spanish LEB Gold. In 24 games he had 6.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg. The previous (18-19) season he played at FC Porto in Portuguese LPB where in 18 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.7apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Barac also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 9.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.3apg.Barac was also a member of Croatian international program for some years. He played for Croatian Senior National Team in 2017 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2011.Barac represented Croatia at the European Championships U20 in Bilbao (Spain) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 10.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.4apg, FGP: 38.5%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 57.1%.Barac has played also professionally in Croatia (Cibona and Zadar), Bosnia (Siroki, Grude and Siroki Eronet 2nd team) and Czech Republic (Nymburk).The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Barac played in the final of Spanish LEB Gold Play-Off in 2019. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Honorable Mention back in 2017.
