American guard Lashonda Monk has signed with the Finnish team Forssan Alku.

Lashonda is a product of the University of Mississippi where in her final year she averaged 9.3ppg, 2.5rpg, and 2.9apg. For two years, in 2020 and 2021 she has been named All-AAC Defensive Player of the Year. This summer, as a rookie she had a stint in Mexican LNBPF for Plateras de Fresnillo.
