Terrence Williams joins D-Fenders
Los Angeles D-Fenders added to their roster 27-year old swingman Terrence Williams He started the season at Turk Telekom in Turkish TBL league.
The last season Williams played at the Celtics. In 29 games he recorded 4.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.5apg. He also played at Guandong Tigers (CBA) in Chinese league earlier that season. In 29 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2spg. Williams also spent pre-season at the Pistons earlier that year. The most of previous (11-12) season he spent at the Kings. In 18 games he recorded 8.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 3.1apg. The other team Williams played that season for were the Rockets. In 12 games he recorded 4.5ppg and 2.3rpg. In 2009 he was drafted by New Jersey Nets (NBA) in first round (11th overall). The former University of Louisville standoutis in his fifth season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as his college team won Big East Tournament in 2009. Williams was also voted All-Big East 1st Team back in 2009. He has played previously professionally in other NBA teams (Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings) and D-League (Springfield Armor).
On Williams: He is a defensive stopper who is able to guard multiple positions on the floor which should help him at the next level ... His vision and ability to pass are standout for a wing player.
