The Spurs keep Ginobili

San Antonio Spurs (NBA) re-signed 38-year old Argentinian ex-international guard Manu Ginobili. . He has a double citizenship as he also holds Italian passport. Ginobili has played there for the last thirteen seasons. In 76 NBA games he averaged 10.3ppg, 3.1rpg and 4.3apg last season. In 1999 he was drafted by the Spurs in second round (57th overall). Among other achievements Ginobili won NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2005, 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Olympic Games 1st Team award back in 2012. Ginobili represented Argentina at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) three years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 8 games: Score-3 (19.4ppg), 5.4rpg, 4.1apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 53.3%, 3PT: 44.2%. Ginobili has played previously professionally in Italy (Virtus 1934 Bologna and Reggio Calabria) and Argentina (Bahia Basket).
