Island Storm (NBL Canada) tabbed 30-year old American forward Tirrell Baines . He played recently at Ottawa SkyHawks in Canadian NBL. Baines missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
In 2011 he was drafted by Erie BayHawks (D-League) in fourth round (10th overall).Baines attended Marshall University and it is his fifth season in pro basketball. He received C-USA All-Freshman Team award back in 2008 at his college time.Baines has played previously professionally in Uruguay (Stockolmo) and D-League (Erie Bay Hawks).
