Three Interperformances players NBA drafted
Interperformances is glad to announce that three players of the agency have been selected in the 2010 NBA Draft: Greivis Vasquez, Nemanja Bjelica and Ryan Richards.
The first of the three is the former Montrose Christian and University of Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez who was selected in the first round by the Memphis Grizzles. He was taken 28th overall in the 30-player first round. Last season Vasquez averaged 19.6 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds for the Terrapins. The 6'5 guard was also named ACC Player of the Year.
The second Interperformances NBA drafted player is Bjelica Nemanja, 35th overall pick, selected in the second round by the Washington Wizards. His draft rights were then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bjelica started his pro career in the 2007/08 season in Austria with Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions, then moved back in Serbia where he played for the following two years for Red Star Belgrade.
Last but not least, Ryan Richards, 19 years old British forward that has been selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round, with the 49th pick of the draft. He has been one of the surprise stories of this year's draft class.
