One of the more remarkable players in the last round of the Mexican LNBP was 27-year old American forward Travis Franklin of Abejas. Franklin impressed basketball fans with 39 points and 7 rebounds against the lower-ranked Indios. Abejas managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings.
Franklin is a newcomer at Abejas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.5ppg (#5). He also registered 5.6 boards per game.
