Stjarnan used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Reykjavik 113-102 on Thursday night. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 29-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Stjarnan outrebounded IR 49-33 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American guard Robert Turner III nailed a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winning side 
Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stjarnan will meet Keflavik on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. IR will play against Breidablik in Kopavogur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
