Tskitishvili comes back to Champville
Champville (Lebanon Division A) inked 32-year old Georgian international power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili. It is actually his comeback as he played he already there last year, averaging impressive 21.0ppg, 11.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1bpg and being awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Center of the Year, Import of the Year and voted to 1st Team. Tskitishvili already started the season at Tochigi Brexin Japanese NBL league. In 10 games he recorded 8.1ppg and 4.1rpg this season. He also spent pre-season at Fujian (CBA) in Chinese league. Tskitishvili was also tried-out by the Clippers in NBA at the start of the season.
In 2013-2014 Tskitishvili played at Al Sharjah (D1) in UAE league.The year before he was tested by Foolad Mahan (Superleague) in Iran.In 2002 Denver Nuggets selected him as fifth overall pick in NBA draft. He won Iranian Superleague championship title in 2012.Tskitishvili was also a member of Georgian international program for some years. He played for Georgian Senior National Team between 2000 and 2013 and previously for U20 National Team in 2001. Tskitishvili represented Georgia at the European Championships in Slovenia two years ago.
Tskitishvili is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Greece (Panionios), Italy (BancaTercas), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Spain (Sevilla, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Gipuzkoa) and Iran (Mahram).
