Two more podiums for Luca Bernardi
The 18 year old rider from San Marino Luca Bernardi proved his worth on his home track, clinching two more podiums on Race 1 and Race 2 in Misano. Only three weeks ago Luca pulled off two stunning victories, gaining the first place in the first two races of the Italian 2020 CIV SuperSport 600.
This weekend he decided to keep dominating for the head of this championship. On Saturday, he fought for the podium clinching the third step on Race 1 and earning another 16 points for the championship leadership. On Sundays's Race 2, he dominated easily on the first position, despite the presence of Lucas Mahias, the 2017 SSP World Champion, gaining 25 more points and the third victory in four races. â¨
Luca is sitting comfortably on the top of the championship, 27 points ahead of the 2nd placed Marco Bussolotti, but there are still 4 more races to go. The next appointment will be in Imola, on September 5, 2020.
