Tyler Harris gets MVP of the Week award for Qatari D1
American Tyler Harris had a great game in the last round for league's leader Al Gharafa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award in Qatar for round 4.The 27-year old center had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Al Gharafa in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Arabi (#2, 3-1) with 35-point margin 100-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Gharafa to jump to the first place in the Qatari D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Gharafa already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Harris had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Gharafa's top player in his first season with the team. Auburn University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Harris is in league's top in points (9th best: 23.8ppg) and averages solid 62.7% FGP.
