Uhud Medina (SBL) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Darrell Wonge. He has played for the last two seasons at Al Wehda (SBL).
The previous (13-14) season Wonge played at ComuniKT in Ecuadorian league. In three Liga Sudamericana games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.7spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the NBL Canada Semifinals in 2013. Wonge was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese JBL2 2nd Team back in 2009.
He is quite experienced player. Wonge has played also professionally in Argentina (Sionista), Japan (Toyota Tsusho), EBA (N.Y. Wizards), Ecuador (Haro) and Canada (Moncton Miracles). He attended Winston Salem State University until 2008 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
