David Okeke will continue with UMF Alftanes for the 2025-26 season in the Icelandic Subway League. The 26-year-old Italian-Nigerian power forward had an outstanding campaign last year, averaging 19.1 points and 8.5 rebounds over 28 games, helping the team reach the semifinals. His efforts earned him spots on the Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League All-Imports Team and Third Team. Okeke has previously played in Italy, Georgia, and for Haukar in Iceland, and also represented Italy at the FIBA U20 European Championship in 2017, where he averaged 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds.
