Unieuro Forli tabs Ryan Amoroso

A2 newcomer Unieuro 2.015 Forli inked 32-year old naturalized American forward Ryan Amoroso.
He played most recently at Ferrocarril in Argentinian LigaA. In 33 games he averaged 10.9ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.2apg last season. The previous (14-15) season Amoroso played at Stings Mantova (A2 Gold) where in 23 games he had 9.8ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.3apg. His team won Icelandic League Regular Season in 2011.
Amoroso has played previously professionally in Italy (Imola, Piacenza Basket Club and Barese) and Iceland (Snaefell). He attended San Diego State until 2009 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Amoroso is a solid inside player with great strength and position. Defends well, has good timing to grab rebounds and can hit the basket from mid-range.
