Three Mad Ants players recorded double-doubles, but it wasn't enough to take down the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Los Angeles beat the Ants 113-106 on Saturday in the Toyota Sports Center. The loss was the second straight for Fort Wayne and dropped the team's record to 11-12.
Los Angeles (7-12) was led byElijah Millsap with 32 points. The 6'6, 215 pounds Small Forward/Shooting Guard had 10 out of 18 FGs and 12 out of 15 free throws. Elijah also collected 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in 41 minutes, for a final valuation index of 22. He made a layup with 7:34 remaining to give Los Angeles a 93-91 lead. Los Angeles led the rest of the way.
Millsap recently played in the 2013 All-NBA D-League Showcase Team where he shined in the game against Bakersfield Jam by scoring 28 points and catching 10 rebounds for the D-Fenders.
