Mec-Energy Roseto  strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old international power forward Valerio Amoroso. It is actually his comeback to Roseto as he has played here before. Amoroso played last season at Fortituto Bologna in Italian Serie A2. In 26 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.8apg. Amoroso also spent pre-season at Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) that year. He helped them to make it to the final. The other team Amoroso played that season for was Juvecaserta (Serie A) where in 9 games he averaged 7.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.0apg and 1.7spg.
 The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Amoroso was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian LNP Gold Center of the Year in 2014. He also represented Italy at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 eight years ago. Amoroso has spent his entire career in Italy playing for seven other teams: Virtus 1934 Bologna, VL Pesaro, The Flexx Pistoia, BancaTercas, Sutor Montegranaro, Virtus Bologna and BancaTercas.
