Vienna Timberwolves and Hrvoje Puljko open semifinals with victories

Timberwolves fired past Mattersburg 87:72 in the opening game of the semifinal
series. Hrvoje Puljko stepped up with 29 points to pace the winners.
Vienna grabbed a 42:31 halftime lead. The Rocks cut the deficit at 7-point mark
at the final intermission. But Vienna went for 26 points in the fourth frame to
seal the victory. Vincent Polakovic (203-F-84, college: USF) had 14 points, while David Geisler (186-G-80) added 13 points in the win. Hallett
responded with 25 points for Mattersburg. Lukas Jandl (97) had 15 points in the loss.
