The Timberwolves eked out a 13:10 lead after the opening frame. St. Polten erased the deficit in the second frame. The Dragons pulled ahead for a 35:29 halftime lead. But the hosts retained the advantage in the third term. Vienna piled up a 55:50 lead heading into the final stanza. The Timberwolves kept their opponents at bay through the fourth frame and cruised to the victory.
