Romanian 7'0” center Virgil Stanescu has signed a deal with the Russian A Superleague team CSK VVS Samara.
Virgil is currently one of the members of the Romanian National team and has already played in Russia in the last three seasons. He played first for Spartak St.Petersburg in the 2005-06 season, then for Spartak Primorie Vladivostok in the 2006-07 and finally with Unics Kazan, the second best Russian Club, in the last season.
