David Reginal Cournooh has been signed by the top Italian team Virtus Bologna. The Naturalized Ghanian point gurad, born in Villafranca di Verona on July 28th, 1990, arrived at Siena at the age of 15 where he won 2 Italian juniors titles. After joining the Mens Sana Siena first team, he moved to some other great Italian teams such as Casale Monferrato, Ferrara, Imola and Fortitudo Bologna. In 2013 he weared back the Mens Sana jersey, just in time to win the Italian Supercup. Then, he played for Brindisi for two season, for Pistoia in 2016/17, and for Cantù in the past year.
He is also a member of the Italian National Team. In 2008 he clinched the fourth spot at the European games with the Under 20 team, joining lately the Senior team in 2012 for the All Star Game in Biella.
