Vives, Diagne and Suarez declare for 2014 NBA Draft

Guillem Vives, Moussa Diagne and Alejandro Suarez submitted the necessary paperwork to declare for an entry into the 2014 National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft, scheduled for Thursday, June the 26h. There has been quite a bit of hype about the upcoming NBA draft. The general consensus has described it as one of the most loaded and deepest in recent years. Not since 2003 has a class featured so many potential stars. This year also features some highly touted international prospects, and among these there are our three Spanish remarkable talents.
Guillem Vives, class 1993, grew up in the Joventut Badalona junior team, but his potential surprised the club that last year decided to let him play in the first team. He's been named Defensive player of the year of the Leb Silver 2013 and received an Honorable Mention. Another talent who grew up in Joventut Badalona is Alejeando Suarez.  Like Vives, he's a member of the Spanish U20 National team that last season reached the podium of the European Championship in Estonia. Last but not least, Cheikh Moussa Diagne, talented naturalized Senegalese, class 1994, who's playing in the Spanish Liga Endesa for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada Madrid. Last summer Diagne won the Eurobasket Summer League in Madrid.
It remains to be seen if the 2014 class will stand up to the test of time and the hype was worth it, but we know that for these three players it definitively will be so.
