Interperformances is glad to announce the signing of Vlad Moldoveanu. Vlad is a power forward/center of the American University Eagles, standing 6'-9" and weighing 215 pounds. He transferred to American after playing two seasons at George Mason. He is a solid defensive player and a strong rebounder.
Vlad is a native of Bucharest and he gained a lot of experience playing with the Romanian National Team. This season he averaged 16.8 ppg and 5.0 rpg in the Eurochallenge Qualifications. He led the Romanian NT in scoring during the 2009 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifying Tournament and averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds during the 2008 European Championship. He helped his U18 national team to the 2006 European Championship and was named MVP. Four-time Romanian Club National Champion and three-time Romanian National Championship Most Outstanding Player.
Moldoveanu is a two-time All-Patriot League First Team selection and was named to the NABC All-District First Team in 2011.
