Wayne Bernard joins Interperformances

The latest Interperformances addition is the 6'2” point guard/shooting guard Wayne Bernard.Wayne played college basketball at Davidson College. On his rookie season he played overseas where he joined first Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in the Israeli Premier League, then the Greek A1 team Ilysiakos Athens. In 2004 he moved in Sweden where he played for the Norrkoping Dolphins. In the following three seasons Wayne also played for another club in Northern Europe, Kouvot Kouvola in Finland. In the same years he played in France for Etoile Charleville-Mezières and ESPE Chalons-en-Champagne Basket Pro.
In 2008 he decided to play in Germany, with Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels, that at the time was in the second ProA league. That year, Wayne was fundamental for the team, that gained the promotion in the Bundesliga first league. He also clinched several awards such as Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and Import Player of the Year.
