Former George Mason player Will Thomas has signed a deal for the upcoming season with the Belgian team Base Oostende. Last season Will received several awards such as MVP of the Belgian League 2010, Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, Import of the Year and Defensive player of the Year. The 6'7”power forward/center arrived in Belgium on his rookie season in 2008/09 when he joined Belgacom LiegeBasket, team with which he won the 2009 Belgian Supercup and the 2010 Regular Season.
