Chinese NBL 's regular season's winner team Chongqing Fly Dragon decided to reinforce their roster, by adding the 25 years old point Guard Willie Warren.
Willie began last season with Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (Hungary-A Division), playing 17 games in Adriatic League with 15.5 ppg and 5.3 apg, with 50.0% from 2, 45.5% from 3. Then he moved to Italy, where he joined Granarolo Virtus Bologna in the Serie A league, averaging 10.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.5apg.
Warren spent his college career at Oklahoma, ending his senior year with 16.3 ppg and 4.1 apg. Drafted by Clippers at the end of 2010 draft (2nd roundd, 24th pick, 54thoverall), he played 19 NBA games with 1.9 ppg. He made some appearances in D-League, with Bakersfield Jam and Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and in 2012 he moved to Europe. He played during 2012-2013 with Maccabi Rishon (Israel - Premier League), averaging 16.1 ppg and 4.2 apg in 23 games with a season high of 28 points scored against Hapoel Holon.
