American Point guard Willie Warren had an amazing evening in the last round for Al Shamal, receiving a  Player of the Week award for round 36.The 32-year old player recorded a triple-double of 22 points adding also 11 rebounds and 12 assists, while his team beat Al Rayyan (#9, 3-12) 96-83. Al Shamal maintains the 5th position in Qatari D1. 
Former The University of Oklahoma star has very solid stats this year. Warren is in league's top in points (9th best: 24.1ppg) and averages impressive 70.8% FGP.
