Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions (Austrian A Bundesliga) inked 30-year old Polish ex-international power forward Wojciech Barycz. He played most recently at SIDEn Torun in Polish 1Liga. In 15 games he recorded 6.1ppg and 2.1rpg last season. Barycz' managed to win the regular season.
In 2011-12 Barycz played at Stabill Jezioro (TBL) in Polish league. In 33 games he averaged 7.4ppg and 3.6rpg.
Former teams were GKS Tychy (2Liga) Anwil (TBL) In 2010 he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Polish 1Liga Player of the Year, Center of the Year and voted to 1st Team.
Barycz was a member of Polish international program for some years. He was called to Polish Senior National Team back in 2006 and previously for U18 National Team between 2000 and 2003.
He has played also professionally in Italy (Benetton Treviso, Rimini and Napoli J.News), Taiwan (Taipei PE College).
