Yankiel, an Italian-Cuban guard, is entering his sixth year with the team and has become a symbol of the organization. With over 150 games played for Benedetto, Yankiel has consistently demonstrated his commitment and passion on the court, making him an invaluable asset to the team. In the previous season, he showcased his skills with an impressive average of over 5 points and 3.5 assists per game, while also excelling in three-point shooting with a career-best 40.4% accuracy. Yankiel's contributions as both a starter and off the bench have been vital to the team's success. 

With a career spanning several teams, Yankiel's journey includes notable achievements such as representing the Italian U18 National Team and reaching the Italian Lega Due Cup Final. Additionally, he was part of the runner-up squad in the regular season of the Italian Serie B Group C and reached the Italian Serie A2 Cup Final in 2023.
