Etoile Charleville-Mezieres (NM2) inked experienced 38-year old Montenegrin ex-international 204cm power forward Zarko Rakocevic for upcoming season. Rakocevic is not a newcomer in French League as he played most recently at Amicale Laique Lons-le-Saunier. The last season he played at Avignon/Pontet (NM1) where in 23 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.6apg in 2019-2020 season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week. He was a member of Montenegrin Senior National Team two years ago. Rakocevic is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Austria (BC Vienna), Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Bosnia (Bosna-Royal and Igokea), Bulgaria (Rilski), Hungary (Kormend and Atomeromu), Serbia, Spain (Valencia), Switzerland (Lugano), Ukraine, Montenegro (Gorstak), North Macedonia (Kumanovo) and France (Sorgues BC and Orchesien BC).
