Zlatorog clinched the Karavank Cup preseason tournament title. They edged Spars Sarajevo in the Final. Nejc Baric  tossed in 20 points and issued 8 assists to lead the Slovenian side. The teams were all tied at 20 heading into the second period. Zlatorog surged ahead in the second term. They snatched a 41:37 halftime advantage. Spars denied the deficit in the third quarter. The Bosnian team entered the fourth period up by a single point 56:57. But Zlatorog quickly regained the control and raced to the victory in the final frame.
