Zob Ahan Isfahan (Iranian Superleague) signed 27-year old Serbian center Nemanja Besovic. He played last season at Al Gharafa in Qatari D1 league. In 8 games he had 13.9ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.5bpg.The previous (17-18) season Besovic played at Al Ahli (also in D1) where in 15 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.5ppg, 11.3rpg (#3 in the league), 1.7apg and 2.3bpg. Great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Serbian League championship title for two years in a row (2011 and 2012).Besovic represented Serbia at the European Championships U20 in Slovenia seven years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 11.0ppg, 3.3rpg, FGP: 62.5%, FT: 84.2%.Besovic has played also professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi and VOO Verviers Pepinster), Serbia (KK Partizan NiS Beograd, Vojvodina S Gas and BC Partizan NiS Beograd U19 team) and North Macedonia (Strumica).
